Nether Lands

This is one of many well-crafted tunes from the double platinum album, "Netherlands," released in 1977, and a fine example of what fans mean when they refer to "album rock." On the project, Dan played acoustic guitars, electric Gretsch guitar, lead guitars, Arp synthesizers, high string guitar, and, of course, sang all the vocals. As usual, Norbert Putnam provided his expertise on bass. This album helped establish Dan as a master songwriter, and even some of the esoteric ballads received quite a bit of airplay.
