Originally recorded as “Amongst The Greed” under the band’s earlier name Creep (with vocalist Corey Cinque), “Ball Tongue” was slowed down and given new lyrics when Jonathan Davis replaced Cinque. In guitarist Brian “Head” Welch’s book Save Me From Myself he explained that ‘Ball Tongue’ was the nickname of the owner of a practice space called the “Underground Chicken Sound” where Korn practiced who became their tour manager (but was later fired).
