Diamonds And Pearls


“Gett Off” was the first single from Prince’s 1991 album Diamonds and Pearls. It was also the first release credited to Prince and the New Power Generation. “Gett Off” (double T) is a concept that evolved from the Lovesexy jam “Glam Slam.” Prince remixed the song multiple times, including “Glam Slam ‘91,” which was similar to the song “Get Off” (single T). That was then recorded over the song “New Power Generation” and acted as its B-side in 1990. Read more on Last.fm.
