It was written by Phil Spector, who also produced the song, along with Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich and features backing vocals from Sonny & Cher and The Blossoms. The song reached #24 on Billboard Hot 100 and Cashbox Top 100 chart in the United States and #11 on the UK Singles Chart.
