“The Judge” acts as the album’s upbeat ukulele track, much like “House of Gold” on "Vessel". While definitely a feel-good singalong great for live shows, this song also displays the serious philosophical and religious musings of Tyler Joseph. The verses in the song can be interpreted a number of different ways, each shedding new light onto the rest of the album. This song is the album’s halfway point, and as such, could almost be seen as an act break or interlude, with the next 7 songs introducing us to new themes. Read more on Last.fm.
