"Lies" is the ninth track on Evanescence''s demo album, Origin. Bruce Fitzhugh of the band ''Living Sacrifice'' provided the male vocals and Stephanie Pierce provided the female backup vocals on the Origin version. Early in the 2001-2002 demo sessions for Fallen, this song was remade with backup vocals from David Hodges, but with different lyrics. The latter version (also known as “It Was All A Lie”) was labelled by fans as a "remix", but Amy Lee noted that fans should refer to it as "Post-Origin demo". Read more on Last.fm.
