"Nothing Really Matters" is a song recorded by American singer Madonna for her seventh studio album, Ray of Light. It was released as the record''s fifth and final single. It was written by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, and produced by the singer, William Orbit and Marius de Vries. The song, like much of the record, was inspired by the birth of her first daughter, Lourdes.
